My Experience: This is my first Zoya nail polish. I’d heard of the brand before and seen good reviews, so when I saw this screaming red color I snapped it up. This is a brand that places importance on being toxin-free and long-wearing whilst offering over 300 different shades. There are still chemicals in the formula, but they’ve removed some notably harmful ones, such as formaldehyde. And I’m truly impressed with the formula. It only took one coat for what you see in these pictures. And the color is quite unique. It’s a blazing red infused with ripples of gold glitter – hopefully you can see how gorgeous it is in these pictures. I think it’s a very versatile red, too. It’s both summer sultry and winter glam, so you could wear it all year round. And I know what you’re thinking – do I really need another red nail polish? Well, this color was different to any other red polish I saw in the shop that day and it’s different to any other red I own, which is why I didn’t hesitate to buy it! I haven’t worn it long enough to speak on the long-wear factor but, frankly, I’ve never used a nail polish that didn’t start chipping or peeling after only a couple days. And I love Zoya’s website. Not only do they categorize the colors in terms of color family, tone, finish and collection, they also rate each polish’s intensity (1 = sheer and 5 = opaque). Oh, and in case you’re still dithering, Zoya won a Women’s Health Magazine independent panel award for longest-lasting polish.

Note: I used Sally Hansen Age Correct No Chip as a base and Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

The Skinny: A unique, blazing red polish loaded with gold glitter that can be worn all year round.  Great polish from a great brand.
